What They Say

"Here at the Sea Island Club we already have 18 regular greens, 2 chipping greens and plan to rebuild another 18 greens with TifEagle. It's so tight, has such terrific color and such impressive research behind it, I think all greens will be judged against TifEagle. It's inevitable."

"I have literally fallen in love with TifEagle. I love the color. I love how it plays. It overseeds seamlessly, and it's far superior to Tifdwarf and the other bermudas. The quality of the putting surface rivals the best of any bent surface anywhere, and I'm proud when other superintendents stand on my greens. There's no question TifEagle is the new standard in quality putting surfaces."

"We converted 18 greens to TifEagle in the summer of 1998, and when we opened for play in September, our members were extremely pleased with the results. Compared to Tifdwarf, TifEagle has superior cool weather color and density, and when cut down to 1/8" or less, it consistently yields green speeds of over 9 feet. TifEagle does require increased maintenance, but it's certainly quite affordable."

"We ran comparison test between Champion and TifEagle through one overseeding, and TifEagle really excelled. It came through spring transition beautifully. It's really aggressive, but it also has excellent speed. We're rolling 10's and 11's with no extra work. We're putting in another 18 TifEagle greens this summer."
